Our standing seam steel roofing is a snap lock panel system that is rolled out at the job in continuous length specific to the roof.  This virtually eliminates costly waste of excess steel.  It has hidden fastners which means one side of the panel is fastened to the roof deck and another panel snaps over those fasteners so there is a water tight seal.  The panels also have mechanisms built in to allow for the metal's natural expansion and contraction during thermal change. There are different profiles and striations in the panel so there is no oil canning and makes it esthetically pleasing.
